Easy Kaluha Cake

Here a quick and easy cake that is very showy

1 purchased loaf pound cake
1 pint whipped topping
1/4 cup Kaluha or Tia Maria
1/3 cup sliced almonds, toasted in 325 degree oven for 15 minutes
1/2 cup chocolate syrup

Split the cake lenghtwise into three layers. Put one layer on plate and drizzle with chocolate syrup.Mix the whipping topping with the Kahlua. Spread a layer of the Kaluha flavored topping. Repeat with next layer, then put on top layer. Spread topping on layer and drizzle with chocolate syrup. Sprinkle the toasted almonds on top. Chill in refrigerator 2 hours before serving.
