Peaches and Cream Ice Cream

Tree ripened peaches are sold at the Farmer's Market in June and July.
That is the time to make this delicious ice cream.

5 large or 7 or 8 small, very, ripe peaches
 3/4 cup to 1 cup sugar, depending on the ripeness of the peaches
1 teaspoon almond extract
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup milk

Wash and peel peaches, removing stone. Place peach fruit in a food processor with sugar and almond extract. Process until in the pureed state.

Place mixture in a glass bowl and add the cream and milk. Mix with spoon. Place in the refrigerator until time to make the ice cream.

When you are ready to make the ice cream, pour the mixture into the frozen bowl and Follow the ice cream maker's instructions for freezing the ice cream. The ice cream should make in about 20 minutes and should make about a little over a quart.
